As we live out our mission of being “Sent to restore”, we seek to engage with people, locally and globally, so that they may discover the love of Jesus. In 2025, our Global Partners Team has vetted four short-term opportunities for you to learn about and serve in the countries of Zambia, Japan, and also in Fairmont, West Virginia. We encourage you to pray about these opportunities, asking God if and where he would have you go.
Fairmont, West Virginia — June 7-14, 2025
A short-term mission trip is being organized for June 2025 that will provide an opportunity for families to serve and learn together. The team will be going to Fairmont, WV the heart of “Coal Country.”Opportunities for learning together as a family through team building and individual Christian growth are natural consequences of serving together in this Kingdom building opportunity!
This unique culture in Fairmont will inspire and reward everyone open to investing in it. The ministry projects may be homes repaired and painted, handicap decks and ramps built, or children’s lives encouraged through local Parks n Rec/VBS. There may be opportunities to visit local Nursing/Assisted Living places to reach out and encourage the residents. Relationship building is the key to positive ministry efforts.

Zambia — July 4-19, 2025
Intown is once again sending a team to serve orphans and full-time missionaries in a remote village in Zambia, Africa with the Rafiki Foundation. We will share the love of Jesus with the children and staff. We will serve in the schools and around the campus to support the work of the missionaries. All gifts and skill sets are needed.

Japan — June 18 - July 3, 2025
Explore Japan and Make Disciples Together The 2025 Summer Mission Team will help hosting the Mentorship Conference events to train Japanese believers. We will also host a reunion with those who returned from Atlanta. In Chiba, we will serve in English classes at a local church. Connecting with the local believers and our non-believing friends, we can serve as a bridge and continue sharing the Gospel together.
