Worship at Intown
The ability to create is a unique gift that God has given to us as his image-bearers, and by extension, it is one of the greatest offerings we can give back to him. Thus, we see worship as art and art as a form of worship. For believers, the two are inextricably linked. Worship, infused with God-given creativity, gives us the opportunity to encounter the living God. It is an important means through which we confess, praise, mourn, hear God’s voice, sense his presence, deepen our understanding of him, and grow in our faith.
Music Ministry
Worship Team
Providing the opportunity for people to encounter God through worship each Sunday is a team effort that includes musicians, readers, prayer leaders, behind-the-scenes tech support, and more. The team rotates each Sunday so there’s plenty of opportunity for volunteers to get involved.
Adult Choir
Intown’s choir is open to anyone who enjoys praising God through song. There’s a strong sense of community and camaraderie among the members and newcomers are very welcome, so it is easy to join in. The Intown Choir holds special holiday services and leads Sunday worship twice each year.
Praise Gang
Students in grades 1-5 can join the children’s choir called “Praise Gang”. They rehearse and perform two musicals each year.
