The deacons will be taking donations for Operation Christmas Child, which distributes gifts to underprivileged children around the world. The gifts, to be packed in shoeboxes, can include toys, school supplies and hygiene items. The charity is operated by Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian international relief agency. More information about the project is available at the information table in the lobby. There will be an area in the Welcome Center to drop off donations through Nov. 14.
