Intown is hosting a picnic for families who are involved with Friends of Refugees Summer Youth Experience on July 8 at the Jolly Ave. Garden, 5:00-8:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to live out our mission of being "Sent to Restore" by engaging with our community partner serving refugees in Clarkston. Individuals, families, and small groups are all encouraged to consider this service opportunity. We need volunteers to help make this a fun event for the youth and their families. Help is needed with picnic set-up, outdoor games, and greeting/socializing with the families. Everyone is asked to bring a non-meat side dish and any outdoor games that they have to share.
