Prayer Ministry

At Intown, we like to think that we are in Jesus' school of prayer. We never perfect it, but we are always desiring to learn and grow.

There are a variety of ways to learn, practice, and grow in prayer at Intown.

After every Sunday service, two-four volunteers stand up front to pray for anyone who wants prayer.

Once a month there is a special service for prayer and healing immediately following the Sunday worship service.

First Monday of Prayer & Fasting

The first Monday of every month our prayer team provides a guide for a day of prayer and fasting.

If you're not sure where to begin, read our prayer and fasting info sheet.

The guide usually includes a biblical passage, reflection, and questions to help you. The guide is available the Sunday before

in hard copy on the information table in the lobby. This month's guide is also available online

Upcoming Prayer event -

International day of prayer for the persecuted church

The most common request of persecuted Christians is “Pray for us.” The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) is observed on the first Sunday of each November so that every church and member may “remember those who are in bonds …” (Heb. 13:3). Let’s join together on Sunday, November 4 in Rooms 205-207 at 12:15 p.m. to pray for those throughout the world who are persecuted for their faith and their Christian witness, and also to learn of ways you can remember them through the year.
