Women's Ministry Upcoming Activities

Moms & Tots

If you're a mom with little ones at home (generally ages 4 and under), we'd love for you and your tot(s) to join us on Tuesday, 12/10, from 9:30-11:30 am for play, fellowship, light snacks, and a word of encouragement! All of our gatherings will be at the home of Heather Weimer (1736 Carrington Pointe, Tucker, GA 30084). Questions? Contact Tricia Agan cell: 314-536-4424 or tricia.agan@gmail.com.

Intown Women's Retreat – March 6-8

This year's retreat will be a relaxing getaway from all the demands and chaos of daily life. It's a chance to commune with God more quietly and deeply than regular routines often permit. Also, a time to re-connect with friends, making new connections with women of all ages and stages. The retreat will be held at The Dillard House in North Georgia. Registration will begin in January. Please save the date!

OASIS Women's Bible Study

Thursday mornings at Intown offer an opportunity for women to come together and receive nourishment from the Lord through his word. Just like a green oasis in the middle of a bleak desert, Oasis is a break in the busy week to satisfy our most vital needs – communion with Christ and each other.

We gather from 9:30-11:30 a.m. to worship, fellowship and study.

Women's Mentoring Ministry

The Women's Ministry is excited to offer an opportunity for mentoring relationships to be formed at Intown. Following the Titus 2 model of older women mentoring younger women, we are looking for women of all ages to participate.

A mentor is a person who has followed Christ longer than you have and is willing to share her life lessons. A mentor acts as a trusted guide, a teacher or coach.

Mentoring is the sharing of one's life, being willing to be transparent and vulnerable. It is passing on the love and wisdom you have received out of gratitude for what you have received. Mentors meet with their mentee a minimum of once a month in an informal, relaxed setting and as often as the two decide. The mentor and mentee make a one year commitment to meet together.

• It is not a replacement for a discipleship group or Bible study.

• It is not a therapy or professional counseling.

• It is not only spiritual guidance but provides practical guidance as well.

If you are interested in being mentored or becoming a mentor, please fill out the form here
