Nursery

Our nurseries care for the youngest members of our community while their parents attend Adult Fellowship Communities and worship. We strive to love and serve our little ones in a tangible way that lays a foundation for knowing Jesus' love as they grow older. 

  • Who: Newborn through Pre-Kindergarten.
  • When: 9:15 am -12:15 pm on Sunday Mornings
  • Where: Lower level, access through the rear entrance of the church. Look for signs or a nursery attendant for directions. 
  • What: Music, toys, games, books, activities, and snacks. 
  • Curriculum: Three-Four year olds are taught from "Gospel Project for Kids".
  • Staff and Volunteers: Classes are led by caring permanent workers supported by church-member volunteers. All permanent workers and nursery staff have passed a background check. 

Nursery Worker Opening

Intown has two paid positions open for Nursery workers on Sunday mornings and occasionally some special events. We would like to fill these positions starting mid-May. One is a long term position and the other is just for the summer months. The candidate needs to be at least 21 years old, have some sort of childcare experience, and be able to speak and understand English clearly. Sunday school:

kingdom kids (k-3 grade)

Our teachers love to share God's story with children, as we learn together and meet in both large and small group settings. 

  • Who: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
  • When: 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday mornings
  • Where: Kindergarten (Room 118); 1st (Room 117); 2nd (Room 115); 3rd (Room 113)
  • What: Teaching, activities, and small group discussion
  • Curriculum: Gospel Project
  • Teachers: Classes are taught by church members. 

SUNDAY SCHOOL: 

E6 (4-5 GRADE)

  • When: 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday mornings

  • What: Teaching, activities, and small group discussion
  • Curriculum: Flyte
  • Teachers: Classes are taught by church members. 

children's worship

This is a place where young children can learn to worship by singing, praising, and learning about His story in an age-appropriate, interactive setting. 

  • Who: Pre-K4 thru 3rd graders
  • When: 11:15 am - 12:00 pm on Sunday mornings
  • Where: Children age K – 3rd go to the sanctuary with parents and are dismissed during the Passing of the Peace (around 11:10 am). Then they are escorted by chaperones to the 3rd floor loft for Children's Worship. Afterwards, they are brought back to their Sunday School rooms on the first floor and parents pick them up after services are over (12 pm). Pre-K4 children are escorted up and back from the Nursery by workers and volunteers.
  • What: Teaching, skits, music, and worship
  • Curriculum: The Gospel Project
  • Leaders: Worship is led by church members. Church volunteers stay with the children from drop-off to pick-up.
